Related Career Activities: Leah successfully earned her living as an independent artist prior to teaming up with Stan in 1993. She was the country’s youngest set designer at a major theater  (Tyrone Guthrie Metropolitan) and taught art to children for fifteen years basing her curriculum on a synthesis of Oriental and Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf) techniques. Stan’s background was in commercial (advertising) art having been with Avnet, Inc, (NYSE), Gallery One and his own advertising agency in NY. He was also an art gallery owner with a wealth of experience in public and private installations (Blue River Gallery, Breckenridge, CO).

Current Life: Shortly after establishing their artistic collaboration, Leah and Stan married in 1994. Since 2006 they have lived and worked in their home/studio perched at the edge of the Galisteo Basin outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. They share six children and seven grandchildren between them.
